About the Role
The IESP Merchant Tech team builds products and services for Amazon's merchants, at Amazon scale. You will work across disciplines on distributed systems, prediction solutions, and scalable storage and query infrastructure. The problems here are broadly defined, so much of the job is turning an ambiguous brief into a working design.

What You'll Do
- 1Work with cross-functional teams to design new products and services
- 2Engineer distributed computing solutions that run at Amazon scale
- 3Develop prediction systems for distributed environments
- 4Build scalable, fault-tolerant storage and query systems
- 5Design solutions for broadly-defined technical problems
- 6Deliver high-quality software in an agile setting
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred
- Comfortable designing for scale, fault tolerance and distributed systems
- Able to work across disciplines in an agile team
