About the Role
Novartis is hiring a data scientist for its Hyderabad centre. You will build predictive and classification models for commercial pharma projects, working alongside senior team members. The data comes from sources like claims, sales and promotions, and the team is also starting to use generative AI and LLMs.

What You'll Do
- 1Build predictive and classification models using machine learning and statistics
- 2Analyse large datasets from claims, sales and promotions to find useful insights
- 3Make existing processes more efficient alongside senior team members
- 4Run projects with clear documentation and regular communication
- 5Help write standard procedures and quality checklists
- 6Support work on generative AI and LLM technologies
What We're Looking For
- 3 years of experience in data science, ideally in pharma or healthcare
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Solid grasp of statistics, predictive analytics, machine learning and deep learning
- Skilled in Python, R and PySpark
- Clear written and spoken communication with stakeholders across time zones
