About the Role
Join Adyen's Authentication and Tokenization team in Bengaluru. The team stores payment card details securely and runs the authentication engine that keeps checkout smooth while following rules like RBI's Card-on-File Tokenization. These systems handle millions of transactions a day for merchants across APAC, Europe and the Americas.

What You'll Do
- 1Build and maintain Adyen's distributed, high-performance payments platform
- 2Own features from first design to going live, with code live within your first few weeks
- 3Find and improve parts of the platform to make it more reliable and scalable
- 4Work on core financial data processes and keep the finance infrastructure secure
- 5Review code and work with teams across time zones
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience with object-oriented languages, mainly Java
- Enjoys writing testable code and can take ownership of a project
- Clear communication, able to explain complex technical ideas
- Fluent in English
- Stack: Java 21, RESTful web services, SQL/PostgreSQL with MyBatis, Tomcat, Gradle, CockroachDB, Elasticsearch
