About the Role
The Loyalty India team at Expedia Group builds the NorthStar loyalty platform behind rewards and membership across Expedia, Hotels.com and Vrbo. This role sits on the backend side of Modern Checkout, the shared checkout platform used by all their brands. You would own services end to end, from low-level design through production support, on a system with strict availability and latency targets.

What You'll Do
- 1Build and operate backend-heavy services for the Modern Checkout platform
- 2Own problems end to end: requirements, design, APIs, data models, testing and support
- 3Develop microservices in Kotlin, Java or C#/.NET against AWS data stores and streaming systems
- 4Build resilient, observable checkout services with CI/CD and automated testing
- 5Help break legacy monoliths into reusable services shared across brands
- 6Use AI-assisted development tools in coding, testing and troubleshooting
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- Ownership of services through the full lifecycle, including design, deployment and production support
- Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, problem solving
- Cloud experience with AWS or a comparable platform
