About the Role
Qualys is hiring an automation QA engineer for its Cloud Security Posture Management platform in Pune. The platform checks cloud resources across AWS, Azure, GCP and OCI against security rules. You will own the automated tests that prove those checks work, because a control that quietly misses a misconfiguration is a security risk for customers.

What You'll Do
- 1Write automated tests in Python (Robot Framework) and Playwright for APIs and UI
- 2Provision misconfigured cloud resources on purpose and check the controls catch them
- 3Investigate false positives and false negatives in control logic
- 4Verify inventory accuracy across accounts, regions and resource types
- 5Manage test environments using Elasticsearch, Cassandra and Kafka
- 6Contribute to Jenkins and GitLab CI pipelines and debug failures
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years in software automation testing
- Strong Python with hands-on Robot Framework experience
- Playwright or similar UI automation experience
- Experience testing SaaS applications and REST APIs
- Working experience with at least one cloud provider, including its APIs and IAM model
