Senior Software Engineer, Client Platform

The Client Platform team is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to help raise the quality bar across the Postman frontend ecosystem. You will establish engineering excellence through improved architecture, performance optimization, and maintainable code patterns that ensure the platform delivers exceptional experiences to both internal engineering teams and over 35 million customers. • 1Design and develop modular, well-documented SDKs and component libraries serving internal engineering teams and external developers, with focus on usability, accessibility, performance and cross-platform compatibility
• 2Architect extensible frontend systems with clear boundaries, well-defined interfaces and appropriate abstraction layers
• 3Establish and evangelize architectural patterns that promote code quality, maintainability and scalability across the frontend ecosystem
• 4Champion engineering excellence through architectural decisions, mentorship and standards that measurably improve code quality
• 5Partner with product and engineering to identify, prioritize and eliminate technical debt through strategic refactoring

• 8+ years in frontend software engineering with demonstrated expertise in code quality, performance optimization and engineering excellence
• Deep understanding of modern web technologies and best practices including JavaScript, TypeScript, React, state management and testing frameworks
• Experience designing and implementing maintainable, scalable frontend architectures for complex applications, including component libraries and SDKs reusable across systems
• Proven track record of raising the quality bar through both technical solutions and positive cultural impact
