About the Role
ECI is hiring a SOC analyst in Bengaluru to watch for and respond to network security events for its financial services clients. You will run threat-actor investigations using SIEM, EDR and email gateway tools, and give first-level support to incident response. The role is onsite and involves 24/7 shift operations.

What You'll Do
- 1Monitor for and respond to known and emerging threats against the network
- 2Run threat-actor investigations using SIEM, EDR and email gateway tools
- 3Triage events, and tell false positives apart from real intrusion attempts
- 4Document and present findings on security incidents
- 5Analyse email and categorise it with a verdict
- 6Work with the team to mitigate threats and keep up with security trends
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 1-3 years in the IT industry, preferably in a SOC environment
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT or Electronics Engineering, MCA or equivalent
- Knowledge of SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, VPN, EDR and antivirus products
- Knowledge of TCP/IP traffic and event log analysis
- Certifications such as CCNA, CEH or CHFI; willing to work 24/7 operations
