About the Role
Takeda's Innovation Capability Center in Bengaluru is hiring a data security engineer. You will run the platforms behind enterprise data security, access and privacy: writing and enforcing access policies, automating deployments, and handling incidents. The work now includes access patterns for GenAI and agent-based workloads.

What You'll Do
- 1Onboard enterprise data platforms into the data security and governance system
- 2Create and maintain access policies and controls (RBAC, ABAC, PBAC)
- 3Automate platform deployments using infrastructure as code and policy as code
- 4Monitor platform health, respond to alerts, and handle patching and upgrades
- 5Lead incident response, run root-cause analysis and drive fixes
- 6Work with governance teams on data classification and tagging
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3+ years in a deep technical role
- BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Python for integrations, automation and platform tooling
- Experience with APIs, scripting and CI/CD automation
- Understanding of authentication, least privilege, auditability and encryption
