About the Role
Tarana's Pune R&D centre is hiring a cloud DevOps engineer. You will build the CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure behind a wireless network platform serving millions of connected devices, using Terraform, Kubernetes and AWS. The role is in the office in Pune and includes on-call support for production.

What You'll Do
- 1Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
- 2Write infrastructure as code with Terraform or similar tools
- 3Automate environment creation for development, testing and staging
- 4Set up and manage Kubernetes clusters and the Istio service mesh
- 5Deploy and manage AWS Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis and RDS databases
- 6Automate monitoring, scaling and recovery, and support production on call
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in cloud DevOps
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools, GitLab preferred
- Experience with Terraform or an equivalent automation tool
- Python for automating admin tasks; Docker, Kubernetes, Istio and Helm
- Familiar with Prometheus, Grafana or the EFK stack for monitoring
