About the Role
The UX/UI Engineer position at Ruby Labs is a unique hybrid role that combines design and development responsibilities for building Next.js interfaces for WinTech consumer products. What You'll Do
- 1Design user interfaces and experiences using Figma and AI design tools
- 2Implement production-ready frontend code using Next.js, React, and TypeScript
- 3Develop scalable component libraries and design systems for consistent UI
- 4Create responsive and accessible user interfaces for consumer products
- 5Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into visual designs
- 6Build and maintain reusable UI components and patterns
- 7Utilize AI tools to enhance design workflows and development processes
- 8Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility of implemented designs
- 9Participate in user research and testing to inform design decisions
- 10Maintain design consistency across multiple consumer products and platforms
What We're Looking For
- Experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript for frontend development
- Proficiency in Figma for UI/UX design and prototyping
- Strong understanding of design principles and user experience best practices
- Knowledge of component-based architecture and design systems
- Familiarity with AI tools for design and development enhancement
