What You'll Do
- 1Design, develop and maintain robust backend systems for high-volume data processing
- 2Lead the design and optimization of relational and non-relational databases, with a focus on PostgreSQL
- 3Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of production data pipelines and backend services
- 4Provide hands-on production support, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues that are time-sensitive for client delivery
- 5 Collaborate across cross-functional teams involving Product, Operations, Design and Architecture teams to deliver high-impact solutions aligned with business objectives
- 6Apply a deep understanding of complex business logic to enhance system capabilities and data workflows
What We're Looking For
- 3-7 years of professional software engineering experience developing enterprise-grade applications, with a focus on backend and data systems
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark for data processing and application development
- Demonstrated expertise in PostgreSQL, including query optimization, indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning
- Experience supporting mission-critical, time-sensitive production environments and client facing data delivery
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and scalable system design
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and DevOps practices
