About the Role
Chegg Skills builds the products that help students move from learning to earning. You would own frontend features end to end on their student and educator web apps, built with React and Next.js over a GraphQL data layer, including new AI-powered learning features. The team is fully remote, with New Delhi as the base location.

What You'll Do
- 1Own frontend features end to end: architecture, build, testing, rollout and monitoring
- 2Turn product requirements into component architecture and GraphQL boundaries
- 3Debug cross-system issues: GraphQL errors, auth edge cases, rendering mismatches
- 4Build AI-powered features that validate model output before it reaches the UI
- 5Apply security and data-protection practices as part of normal work
- 6Keep performance in check: rendering strategy, bundle size, Core Web Vitals
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of professional frontend engineering experience
- Strong React and Next.js, with GraphQL data layers
- Client-state handling with React Query, Redux Toolkit or similar
- Comfortable enough with backend concepts and AWS to work in Kotlin, Java or Python services
- Experience writing unit, component and end-to-end tests
