What You'll Do
- 1Build and refine Melange packages (APK) for Wolfi and Chainguard repos
- 2Produce container images for public and private consumption
- 3Design and implement robust, automated tests to ensure images deploy and run smoothly
- 4Prioritize and tackle a rapid-fire queue of requests, shipping images that power critical infrastructure
- 5Apply and evolve production standards, ensuring detailed checks and high-quality releases
What We're Looking For
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Linux
- Experience with packaging (APK, RPM, DEB, Snap, Flatpak, etc.)
- Practical experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform
- Programming skills in at least one language, preferably Go, Python, or Shell
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Attention to quality, process, and detail
