About the Role
BrightEdge is hiring a backend engineer for its core infrastructure team, working remotely from India. You will not train models: you will use AI coding tools to build and maintain the APIs and data pipelines behind their services, in Python with FastAPI or Flask. What You'll Do
- 1Use AI coding assistants to ship tested, documented backend code faster
- 2Build and maintain REST or GraphQL APIs and microservices in Python
- 3Add AI-driven automation such as predictive scaling and log anomaly detection
- 4Integrate third-party AI services into the backend architecture
- 5Design systems that handle high traffic and complex data workflows
- 6Set up and manage automated testing and deployment pipelines
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years in backend engineering, shipping production software
- Bachelor's in Computer Science Engineering
- Strong Python for server-side work
- Expertise in PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases, including performance tuning
- AWS (Lambda, ECS, S3) or GCP, plus hands-on use of AI coding tools
