About the Role
As a Software Engineer at Acuity Inc., you will work within the Atrius organization in Acuity Intelligent Spaces (AIS) to design, build, deploy, and maintain highly available distributed cloud applications. You will develop software for the growth of IoT-driven applications, focusing on cloud tools that provide centralized monitoring and control of built spaces. The tech stack includes .NET, React, and an Azure cloud platform.

What You'll Do
- 1Write well-designed and testable code
- 2Design and implement scalable software systems
- 3Collaborate to design, implement, and maintain new features
- 4Work with project management to identify, analyze, and fix bugs
What We're Looking For
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of software development experience
- Experience with .NET
- Strong proficiency with RESTful APIs
- Working knowledge of React (or equivalent framework)
- Experience developing and deploying applications in a cloud environment (Azure preferred)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and concepts
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and writing unit tests
- Experience with development tools like Node.js, Yarn, git, Figma, etc.
- Ability to learn on the job and explore modern technologies with little supervision
- Experience with Agile Methodologies such as Scrum
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
