About the Role

Join Acuity Inc. as a Software Engineer focused on IoT-driven cloud applications. Contribute to designing, building, deploying, and maintaining scalable systems. You will work within the Atrius organization in Acuity Intelligent Spaces (AIS) to develop software for the growth of our Internet-of-Things (IoT) driven applications with a focus on the development of cloud tools that provide our customers with centralized monitoring and control of their built space. The tech stack includes .NET, React, and an Azure cloud platform.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years of software development experience
  • Experience with .NET
  • Strong proficiency with RESTful APIs, including high-performance client implementations
  • Working knowledge of React (or equivalent framework)
  • Experience developing and deploying applications in a cloud environment (Azure preferred)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and concepts
  • Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and writing unit tests
  • Experience with development tools like Node.js, Yarn, git, Figma, etc.
  • Ability to learn on the job and explore modern technologies with little supervision
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies such as Scrum
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
