About the Role
As a Software Development Engineer In Test (SDET) at Trellix, you will be responsible for creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans. You will design, develop, and execute test automation for functional and non-functional test scenarios, contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation infrastructure and reporting tools, and ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

What You'll Do
- 1Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans
- 2Design, develop, and execute test automation for functional and non-functional test scenarios
- 3Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation infrastructure and reporting tools
- 4Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- 5Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
- 6Identify, record, thoroughly document, and track defects
- 7Perform thorough regression testing when defects are resolved
- 8Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products
- 9Reproduce, debug, and isolate problems and verify fixes
- 10Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- 11Monitor system health and use logging to debug issues
- 12Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and advocate for top-tier quality
- 13Track quality assurance metrics to help make data-driven quality-related decisions
- 14Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
What We're Looking For
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 0-1 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or similar role
- Proven track record of shipping high-quality and scalable software
- Experience in writing clean code quickly, preferably using Python
- Working experience on Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms
- Hands-on experience with large-scale automation frameworks
- Experience with continuous integration tools and full SDLC automation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
