Senior Data Protection Engineer

Senior Data Protection Engineer at Experian Hyderabad, designing and supporting cryptographic and data protection solutions including encryption, key management, PKI and HSMs on AWS.

• 1You will design, manage, and support cryptographic and Data Protection solutions, including encryption, key management, PKI, certificate management, HSMs, and AWS cloud services
• 2You will perform day-to-day engineering and operations activities such as encryption onboarding, platform builds and upgrades, troubleshooting, health checks, infrastructure maintenance, and integration support
• 3You will collaborate with the Data Protection Manager and stakeholders to identify security gaps, improve controls, and drive automation, upgrades, and process enhancements
• 4You will ensure all implementations are operationally ready with proper documentation, monitoring, alerting, KPIs, governance, and change management before production deployment
• 5You will support the Data Protection roadmap, security policies, audits, certification initiatives, weekly progress reporting, and participate in 24x7 rotational on-call support
• 6You will report to a Senior Manager

• You will bring 9+ years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field, with a strong understanding of enterprise security practices
• You will have hands-on experience with encryption, key management, PKI, certificate management, file encryption, and security policy enforcement across cloud and on-premises environments
