About the Role
As a Machine Learning Engineer at Branch International, you will work closely with other Engineers, Product Managers, and underwriters to develop, improve, and deploy machine learning models. You will focus on credit decisions, customer service automation using LLM/NLP, and fraud prevention. What You'll Do
- 1Develop and improve machine learning models for credit decisions
- 2Automate customer service interactions using machine learning and NLP
- 3Build models to detect and prevent fraudulent behavior
- 4Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product development
- 5Contribute to the technical direction and abilities of the team
What We're Looking For
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- 1+ years of hands-on experience building software in a production environment
- Excellent software engineering and programming skills, especially in Python and SQL
- Experience with cloud computing infrastructure and data pipelines
- Strong understanding of machine learning, statistics, and data analysis
- Self-motivation and initiative to solve problems proactively
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
