About the Role
As a Junior Software Engineer at GoFasti, you will support the enhancement and stabilization of a legacy PHP-based SaaS platform. You will assist in building new platform features using modern technologies such as NestJS and NextJS. You will collaborate with senior team members to debug issues and refactor code, contributing to improving code quality and maintainability.

What You'll Do
- 1Support the enhancement and stabilization of a legacy PHP-based SaaS platform
- 2Assist in building new platform features using modern technologies (NestJS, NextJS)
- 3Collaborate with senior team members to debug issues and refactor code
- 4Document changes and contribute to improving code quality and maintainability
What We're Looking For
- 1–2 years of experience in software development (internships, bootcamps, or junior roles)
- Familiarity with PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript, and relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL)
- Experience with Legacy: PHP 7, MySQL 5.7, LAMP stack, Vue, basic React
- Experience with Modern: NestJS (Node.js backend), NextJS (React frontend), PostgreSQL
- Experience with Infrastructure: AWS (SQS/SNS, ECS, Fargate), cloud-native development patterns
- Eagerness to work across legacy and modern systems
- Comfortable working in a distributed, remote-first environment
- Strong communication skills and an openness to feedback and mentorship
