Develop and optimize user interfaces for planning and participation software. As a Junior Frontend Developer, you will work on optimizing user interfaces for planning software at DEMOS. You will collaborate in a Scrum team and engage in innovative projects.

What You'll Do
- 1Be part of our innovative and agile Scrum development team
- 2Work closely with our Frontend and Machine Learning Research Teams
- 3Conceptualize and implement exciting projects in collaboration with the Product Management Team
- 4Be responsible for choosing the right technologies for the expansion of the entire software architecture
- 5Work closely with other development and research teams
- 6Actively shape the digital transformation of societal participation in decision-making processes
- 7Work on and with large open-source projects in the context of participation and spatial planning
What We're Looking For
- Enjoy writing clean code and working in an agile team
- Have good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS and relevant libraries (e.g., Vue.js)
- Be familiar with Git, GitHub, and related tools
- Be comfortable integrating different technologies (e.g., AI and web applications)
- Be willing to explore new technologies
- Have experience with TypeScript and OpenLayers (advantageous)
- Be knowledgeable in creating unit tests (with Jest) and e2e tests (with Cypress)
- Have experience with accessible web development (BITV/WCAG)
- Demonstrate independent and service-oriented work and a high quality awareness
- Have very good German and good English language skills
