About the Role
Join Nexus Studios as a Junior DevOps Engineer to support the development and live operations of an exciting new immersive XR product. You will work closely with the DevOps Lead, gaining hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, test automation, performance monitoring, and live operations for a fan-facing product.

What You'll Do
- 1Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Kotlin-based XR applications and backend services
- 2Implement and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and automated testing pipelines
- 3Assist with cloud infrastructure management (AWS, GCP, or similar)
- 4Help optimize release processes and contribute to automated deployment workflows
- 5Support monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure live product performance
- 6Collaborate with QA and Engineering teams to maintain high-quality builds
- 7Participate in live operations support, including release readiness and incident response
- 8Continuously learn and apply best practices in DevOps, testing, and XR infrastructure
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of experience in DevOps, QA Automation, or Software Engineering
- Experience working with Kotlin-based products or Android-based platforms
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar)
- Exposure to automated unit testing and integration testing
- Understanding of cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Understanding of web technologies and networking
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker)
- Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Strong interest in XR technologies and supporting live immersive experiences
- Eagerness to learn, a collaborative spirit, and attention to detail
