About the Role
We are looking for a Backend Engineering Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree specialized in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. You should have strong programming expertise in Python, Django, and GoLang. You will be responsible for building and enhancing core systems at FamPay, crafting clean, manageable code, and maintaining proper documentation. You will also be responsible for creating, testing, and deploying the applications on production servers for new feature development.
About FamPay
FamPay is building India’s first neo-bank exclusively for teens. FamPay helps teens make their own online and offline payments through UPI, FamPay App and FamCard. Their aim is to make banking cool for teens and to help them learn the value of money, savings and spending wisely. They are on a mission to raise a new, financially aware generation, and drive 250 Million+ Indian teenagers to kickstart their financial journey super early in their life.
What You'll Do
- 1Build and enhance core systems at FamPay.
- 2Craft clean, manageable code, and maintain proper documentation.
- 3Create, test, and deploy the applications on production servers for new feature development.
- 4Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies and frameworks to maximize development efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree specialized in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Strong programming expertise in Python, Django, and GoLang.
- Previous internship experience in product-based companies/startups.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
