About the Role
Comcast is hiring an SDET in Chennai to build automated test frameworks and scripts for its web products. You will write and run tests, work out why things fail, and fix broken test cases. The role also involves reviewing other engineers' automation code and mentoring juniors.

What You'll Do
- 1Build automated test frameworks and scripts with high coverage
- 2Write and run automated tests, focusing on finding defects
- 3Analyse results, diagnose failures and repair broken test cases
- 4Review peer automation scripts and frontend code
- 5Fix simple bugs in production code and take part in code reviews
- 6Mentor junior engineers and share testing best practices
What We're Looking For
- 5-7 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree, or a mix of coursework and related experience
- Test automation with Playwright, plus Java, Python or TypeScript
- Functional testing of web applications and API testing
- SQL, GitHub, CI/CD and Azure; BDD or Gherkin test design
