About the Role
As a Data Scientist on the Pricing team, youl develop machine learning models that power PrizePicks real-time odds generation system. This role involves building probabilistic models that predict athlete performance, adjusting for factors like weather, injuries, and historical trends. Youll create Python pipelines that ingest sports data from 20+ sources (SportsRadar, ESPN), engineer predictive features, and train XGBoost/neural network models on AWS SageMaker. The position offers unique access to proprietary sports data, collaboration with professional sports traders, and opportunities to publish research on novel pricing methodologies. Successful candidates will develop expertise in sportsbook mathematics while working with technologies like Airflow for pipeline orchestration and Tableau for model performance visualization.

What You'll Do
- 1Develop ML models for player prop pricing

What We're Looking For
- Mastes in Statistics, CS, or related field
- 2+ years professional modeling experience
- Expert Python/Pandas data manipulation
- Advanced statistical knowledge
- Experience with ML frameworks
- Proficiency in SQL
- Understanding of sports betting markets
- Ability to communicate technical concepts
