Data Analyst - Visualist

Join Continental Automotive as a Data Analyst to support business decisions through data analysis and visualizations. You will be responsible for performing detailed exploratory data analysis, creating interactive dashboards, and designing compelling visualizations that transform complex data into clear and actionable insights.

• 1Perform detailed exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights
• 2Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer specific business questions and support decision-making
• 3Utilize statistical techniques to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations
• 4Work with large datasets to extract, clean, and prepare data for analysis
• 5Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI or similar
• 6Develop and design data visualizations that effectively communicate insights and findings
• 7Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into visual solutions
• 8Ensure visualizations are user-friendly and accessible to non-technical stakeholders and follow governance standards
• 9Generate regular and ad hoc reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics
• 10Develop and maintain documentation for data analysis processes and methodologies
• 11Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions align with business objectives
• 12Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on using data visualizations and reports

• Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in data analysis and data visualization
• Knowledge of Financial Reporting logic, tools (e.g., FiRe, SAP R/3 and BW), and guidelines
• Proven experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or similar
• Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical analysis and data manipulation
• Strong knowledge of data visualization principles and best practices
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus or SQL/data querying is of advantage
• Proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI, and other BI tools
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects
• Experience in working in international and intercultural teams preferred
