What You'll Do
- 1Perform detailed exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- 2Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer specific business questions and support decision-making
- 3Utilize statistical techniques to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations
- 4Work with large datasets to extract, clean, and prepare data for analysis
- 5Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI or similar
- 6Develop and design data visualizations that effectively communicate insights and findings
- 7Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into visual solutions
- 8Ensure visualizations are user-friendly and accessible to non-technical stakeholders and follow governance standards
- 9Generate regular and ad hoc reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics
- 10Develop and maintain documentation for data analysis processes and methodologies
- 11Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions align with business objectives
- 12Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on using data visualizations and reports
What We're Looking For
- Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in data analysis and data visualization
- Knowledge of Financial Reporting logic, tools (e.g., FiRe, SAP R/3 and BW), and guidelines
- Proven experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or similar
- Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical analysis and data manipulation
- Strong knowledge of data visualization principles and best practices
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus or SQL/data querying is of advantage
- Proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI, and other BI tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects
- Experience in working in international and intercultural teams preferred
