As a Data Analyst at Canopy, you will transform raw data into clear, actionable insights that drive product, marketing, and operations decisions. You will own BI assets, perform ad-hoc and exploratory analysis, develop basic predictive models, and ensure data quality. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative vehicle security solutions.

What You'll Do
- 1Design, build, and maintain Tableau/Grafana dashboards and scheduled reports
- 2Perform ad-hoc and exploratory analysis using SQL, Python, or R
- 3Develop and validate regression and classification models
- 4Maintain curated data sets and documented metrics
- 5Present findings through slide decks, write-ups, and data visualizations
- 6Automate recurring analysis and suggest instrumentation enhancements
What We're Looking For
- Bachelors degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field
- 1-2 years of professional analytics experience
- Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in Python or R
- Experience with modern BI/visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Grafana
- Solid understanding of descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, and basic supervised-learning techniques
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with cloud data warehouses and ELT frameworks is a plus
- Familiarity with A/B testing design and evaluation is a plus
- Exposure to Telematics/IoT data is a plus
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment and commute to the Detroit office as needed
