Co-Op Software Engineer

As a Co-Op Software Engineer at Fortive, you will join a dynamic development team working on cutting-edge projects. This position offers the opportunity to utilize C++ and object-oriented programming techniques to design, develop, and implement software applications. You will participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting software applications, while engaging in agile development practices.

• 4Assist in the debugging, testing, and troubleshooting of software applications.
• 5Document and maintain software functionality.
• 6Engage in agile development practices and weekly meetings to report progress and discuss project details with team members.

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge in C++ and object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Previous experience or coursework involving software development projects is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
