What You'll Do
- 1Build a new infrastructure platform from scratch.
- 2Partner with businesses and leverage your engineering expertise to contribute to Zamp Finance's mission of enabling success and growth.
- 3Ensure the scalability of the infrastructure platform as the business grows.
- 4Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and ship new features.
- 5Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- 6Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
- 7Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
- 8Implement security and data protection solutions.
- 9Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies and apply them to Zamp Finance's infrastructure platform.
What We're Looking For
- 2-5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, with a strong track record of shipping technically robust, scalable, and extendable platforms.
- Strong grasp of basic engineering principles, including Gang of Four principles, SOLID, and DRY.
- Proficiency in our engineering stack: Go Lang, Redis, Kafka/Pub/Sub, Kubernetes (K8s), and job schedulers.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex problems into simpler terms, and effectively influence both peers and senior leadership.
