Backend Developer - Fully Remote

• 1Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend systems using Java and related technologies
• 2Develop RESTful APIs to support frontend applications and integrations
• 3Integrate with third-party APIs and external platforms
• 4Write clean, efficient, testable, and well-documented code
• 5Diagnose and resolve technical issues and performance bottlenecks
• 6Contribute to architecture decisions and improve development processes
• 7Leverage AI tools and models where applicable in the development lifecycle
• 8Mentor and empower fellow developers
• 9Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Support, Data)
• 10Contribute to a knowledge-sharing culture that promotes learning and growth

• Proven experience as a Backend Java Developer or similar role
• Strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks
• Experience with RESTful API development
• Experience with SQL databases, particularly MySQL
• Integration with third-party APIs and services
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)
• Ability to write clean, efficient, reusable, and testable code
• Experience diagnosing and resolving performance bottlenecks
• Ability to integrate and utilize AI tools and models within the development lifecycle
• Knowledge of software development best practices, design patterns, and SOLID principles
• Effective communication skills in both Spanish and English
