About the Role
The Android Intern at Park Plus will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Android applications and their integration with back-end services[^3^][5]. The intern will work with a team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of mobile applications[^4^][4].

Park+ is a mobile app-based platform that offers solutions to every pain point around car ownership. The users can discover and book parking, buy and recharge FASTags, get a daily car wash, and pay traffic fines online[^1^][1][^2^][2]. Park+ was founded in 2019 and is headquartered in Gurugram, Haryana, India[^2^][2].
What You'll Do
- 1Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- 2Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- 3Work with outside data sources and APIs
- 4Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- 5Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- 6Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
What We're Looking For
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin
- Understanding of Android app development concepts, architecture, and components
- Experience with Android SDK and remote data via REST and JSON
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
