About the Role
Join Wealthfront as an Android Engineer to design and develop new investment account and cash account functionalities within our Android app. You will work as part of a cross-functional scrum team, writing automated tests, integrating with our in-house design systems, and collaborating with frontend and backend engineers to build reusable REST APIs.

What You'll Do
- 1Build a premier native Android application
- 2Collaborate with other engineers and designers to build new features and enhance existing features for our world-class app
- 3Work with frontend and backend engineers to design, build, and test reusable REST APIs
- 4Design and build high-quality infrastructure, making the right tradeoffs for risk and long-term maintainability
- 5Collaborate with design and product to define a delightful Android experience using material design
- 6Provide technical guidance and mentorship to peers
What We're Looking For
- 1 - 2 years of professional Android development experience
- Proficiency with Java or Kotlin
- Experience writing unit tests and testable code
- Knowledge of Android SDK performance tools and optimization techniques
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent professional experience
